Herb Lovers’ Day at the Farmstead

A workshop/retreat-style day is planned here at the farmstead for folks who simply want to explore the beauty & benefits of herbs & beneficial native plants … … as well as for those who have been browsing herbs for decades.
This is not a drop-in event & there will be no vendors. You’re registering to be here for a full day with other herb lovers that’s designed & led by the herbalists of Black Walnut Farmstead. Studies will be co-learning opportunities so you get to share too!
We gather at 10:30am as a learning circle of varied minds & hearts for 2 hrs of sharing & study … Then at 2:30 the circle opens out into a Wonderful Weed Walk around the farmstead (Grab ‘n go picnic lunches available.) The circle reunites at 2:30 for another 2 hours together – this time creating an herbal concoction to take home with your day’s inspiration! $45 includes lunch, take-home herbal goodness, 6-hours of learning & fun, a healing day for you!
Lunch: Vegetable-based Soup, Herbed Whole Grain Yeast Rolls, Leafy Green Salad with Herby Lemon-Garlic-Tahini Dressing
