At this point of the season, the Medicine Garden at Black Walnut Farmstead will be ready for some harvesting and that means it’s time to create some concoctions with herbs! We will dry some ahead of time for use but you will also get the chance to peruse the plants, learn a little about healing properties, and enjoy scents and textures … and then you get to concoct! On the plan for the day will be making a customized oxymel, (a concoction of vinegar, honey, and a selection of herbs,) and a yummy sugar scrub. All materials provided in your registration.
